Minggu Sains dan Teknologi 2011

Panitia Sains dengan kerjasama Panitia Kemahiran Hidup telah berjaya mengadakan Minggu Sains dan Teknologi 2011 dari 21 hingga 25 Februari 2011. Pelbagai aktiviti telah dilaksanakan dengan jayanya. Acara kemuncak iaitu pada 22 Februari 2011 (Selasa) iaitu Pertandingan Inovasi Lumba Bot 2011 mendapat sambutan yang amat hebat. Seramai 270 orang pelajar dari Sekolah Rendah dan Sekolah Menengah dari seluruh daerah Hulu Selangor bersama-sama menyertai pertandingan tersebut. Pada waktu yang sama kanak-kanak daripada Tadika Sinaran Islam seramai 48 orang juga bersama-sama memeriahkan suasana dengan menyertai Art Attack (Pertandingan Mewarna)

Terima kasih juga pada kesemua AJK yang terlibat dari Kelab Sains dan Teknologi dan Kelab Fotografi. Tanpa bantuan anda semua pasti kesemua aktiviti-aktiviti tersebut tidak dapat dilaksanakan. Terima kasih juga pada Tuan Pengetua Cemerlang, Tn Hj Rafiei Bin Mustapha di atas sokongan dan kebenaran untuk menganjurkan acara ini.

Mohon maaf sangat-sangat pada semua...dah lama saya tak update blog saya ni...saya terlalu sibuk macam-macam kerja dan aktiviti sekolah yang perlu diselesaikan awal-awal tahun ni...kelam-kabut sikit hidup awal tahun ni...Silap saya sebab kurang bijak dalam pengurusan waktu...Pesanan pada semua "Kita perlu bijak menguruskan masa kita, perlu menyusun kerja mengikut keutamaan"...Harapnya kerja-kerja yang bertimbun ini dapat selesai dalam bulan Februari ini...peringatan buat diri sendiri perlu selesaikan projek yang mana ada dahulu sebelum memulakan projek yang baru...

Overall Champion F1 in Schools Technology Challenge: Velospeed F1

                            WE WON!!!! WE WON!!!! ALHAMDULILLAH!!!!!WE WON!!!......;)

I'm happy to announce that my school Sekolah Menengah Sains Hulu Selangor and my beloved

students Asyraf Najmie, Arif Azizan, Aimran and Alang ,contesting under the name of Velospeed F1, has been named the overall champion in the tournament held between 14 - 16th November 2011 at Titiwangsa Kuala Lumpur.

Besides winning the Tournament coveted trophy, the wins also gives us the honour of representing Malaysia in The FI In School World Championship 2011 .

Besides being named as The Overall Champion, the we also managed to secure the following awards :

1) The Best Newcomer

2) The Best Pit Display

3) The Best portfolios

4) The Knock Out Race Championship

Science Experiment : TEABAG ROCKET

A very interesting experiment to show application on CONVECTION concept. What we need only tea bag that has an attached string, aluminium foil and matches...AND a simple rocket is build....;)

Have to be really careful....if not the rocket won't fly....

Rocket is ready...10....3, 2, 1 and LIFT OFF....

 I managed to record a video during the experiment with my students from 1 Amal. Love to see their reactions....
